Bill Gates: The next outbreak? We’re not ready

In 2014, the world avoided a horrific global outbreak of Ebola, thanks to thousands of selfless health workers — plus, frankly, thanks to some very good luck. In hindsight, we know what we should have done better. So, now’s the time, Bill Gates suggests, to put all our good ideas into practice, from scenario planning to vaccine research to health worker training. As he says, “There’s no need to panic … but we need to get going.”

  1. "We need a Strong Health Care system that will provide vaccines" somehow people still ignore this even in such horrible conditions 😩 its 2020 and People could vote for a Person that will make this possible Bernie Sanders. Yet still some americans swing either Trump or Biden. The two idiots that could care less about us. 🇺🇸 #BernieSanders2020

  2. Bill says that we needed to do surveillance on Ebola but China didn’t even want us to do surveillance or help us when the CDC offered to help.

  3. its like the Elite has decided since we are living in " a predictive world " -> "aah you know what lets create a pandemic and make sure only those who does the right thing ( hygiene, immunity, isolation ) at the right moment survive!"

  4. Is this not the same guy who in another talk it slips out of his mouth that contributes to "world population control"?? Is this corona one of silly "germ games" that have gotten out of hand? People should stop playing like they are gods!!! And what exactly did he mean at 7:40??
